The Palm Desert Public Art Program invites professional artists who are proficient in planning, creating, and implementing public art to submit slides of their current work and a professional resume for inclusion in the Online Artist Registry.
All submissions are reviewed and approved by the Art in Public Places Commission. Developers and the Art in Public Places Commission utilize the registry as a resource to find artists for upcoming public art commissions.
Due to the lack of two-dimensional public art commissions, we respectfully request that painters, with the exception of muralists, no longer submit applications for the Artist Registry.
To be considered for the program, please email your materials to Deborah Schwartz Glickman or send directly to the Public Art Department.
