Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Saturday, September 9, 2017

Palm Desert

1:44 am - Felony Warrant Arrest: Officers responded to an audible alarm at the 72000 block of Varner Road, in the unincorporated county area of Thousand Palms.  It was determined that a suspect(s) had cut the padlock loop to the circuit breaker panel, causing the alarm to activate.   Shortly after, officers conducted an investigative traffic stop at Washington Street and Hovely Lane.  The driver was arrested for a felony warrant and was suspected in several circuit breaker thefts in the city of Palm Desert.  An Investigator and BSU Officer responded to assume the investigation.  Both driver and passenger were determined to be involved in the attempted grand theft of circuit breakers in Thousand Palms.  BSU will be conducting follow-up regarding the previous circuit breaker thefts.

 

2:32 am - DUI Arrest: Officers conducted a traffic stop at Highway 111 and San Pablo Way and arrested the driver for DUI.  File #T172520011

 

10:18 pm - Public Intoxication Arrest: Officers responded to the 71100 block of Highway 111 and arrested one person for public intoxication.  File #T172520158.

 

10:55 pm - Felony Warrant Arrest: Officers responded to the 74400 block of E. Hovely Lane regarding a keep the peace.  One person was arrested for a felony warrant. File #T172520131.
