12:00 am - Sex Offender Registrant Arrest - Officers conducted an investigation involving a subject passed out on Highway 111.  The subject was determined to have several misdemeanor warrants.  During the investigation, Officers learned he was also a Sex Registrant and had not registered since 2011.  He was therefore arrested for failing to register.  File #T172500157

 

3:21 am - Public Intoxication Arrest - Officers conducted an occupied vehicle check at Freedom Park.  The person contacted was a parolee who was subsequently arrested for public intoxication.   File #T172510010

 

5:40 am - Domestic Violence Arrest - Officers responded to the 77000 block of Michigan Drive reference a domestic violence investigation.  During the investigation, the officer determined the subject had assaulted his girlfriend.  He was subsequently booked at the Indio Jail for domestic violence.  File #T172510015

 

1:50 pm - Palm Desert BDT and SET conducted a bait bike operation at various locations throughout Palm Desert.  Two persons were arrested during the operation for theft, and possession of stolen property.  Both were booked into the county jail in Indio.  File #T172510077

 

5:11 pm - Domestic Battery/ Child Endangerment/ Narcotics Possession Arrest - Officers responded to the 43700 block of Louisiana Street regarding a domestic disturbance. One subject was arrested for the above mentioned charges. He was booked into the county jail in Indio. File #T172510110

 

9:33 pm - Theft Arrest- Officers responded to a report of a strong arm robbery at the 34500 block of Monterey Avenue.  The suspect vehicle was stopped at Bob Hope south of Varner. Investigation determined the incident was ultimately a petty theft, however a large quantity of suspected stolen property out of Redlands was discovered inside the vehicle. Two juveniles were arrested for the theft and released to guardians, with pending follow-up regarding the stolen property.  File #T172510156
