City Programs Help Pets and Pet Owners
A Pet Vaccination Clinic offering discounted services for dogs and cats will be held on Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. under the shade structures in the parking lot in front of City Hall.
The clinic, which is presented by the City in cooperation with the Riverside County Department of Animal Services, will offer vaccinations without an appointment at reduced rates. Pet microchips and dog licenses will also be available. Cats must be in a carrier and dogs must be on a leash.
The City also continues to promote pet ownership through its adoption reimbursement program. Palm Desert residents who provide proof to the City’s Code Compliance Department that they have adopted a cat or dog from the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms can receive reimbursement for their adoption fees.
For more information about the pet clinic, please call 760-343-3644.
